SMoke Screens

Smoke Screens

Smoke Screens is a cynical contemporary circus comedy dealing with the dark side of social media through theatrical effects and illusions.

We ask how reality relates to illusion, how truths are hidden to an uncritical audience and if there is an objective reality. We manipulate the audience's perception of reality to the point where only doubt remains. Through the cracks in a glossy façade we sense a dystopian nightmare - but is that reality?
It's time to focus on the serious side of comedy.

Circus arts  new production - limbo land

Limbo Land, a circus show for children and families, is an interregional coproduction between Circus Arts (Stockholm) and Circus Glass Royale (Kronoberg).

The theme is waiting and connects to migration. We wish to create more understanding for people's different  living conditions but that we, in spite of our differences, are more alike than not.

Limbo Land will premiere in September 2016. More information or booking on www.limboland.se or contact producer Evy Wurm: evy@circusarts.nu.

SUPPORT DRAKLYGARENS KICKSTARTER PROJECT!

The independent production company Drakflygaren:

"We have been filming the fire circus group Burnt out Punks on and off for approximately two years. And our love for this crazy people just gets bigger.
Burnt Out Punks have made a different way of living. They perform all over Europe and their message is clear; we’re living our dream no matter what.

We want to share the story about these girls and guys with everybody. We want you to get to know them and their weird humour, their craziness, their struggle for survival as artists and their struggle for money and - above all - their friendship, dreams and love for life.

The goal is to make a series of 8 episodes. Every episode is 15 minutes long. The goal is to make a series of 8 episodes. Every episode is 15 minutes long."
